《蓝色监狱》为足球题材的作品，TV动画第1季在2022年10月播出，2023年3月完结。第2季TV动画将围绕着主人公洁世一的新挑战展开，剧场版将以三宫宏太连载的衍生漫画《BLUE LOCK -EPISODE- 凪》为原作，从凪诚士郎的角度描写新的故事。
新角色的声优为中村悠一、古川慎、河西健吾、江口拓也、下野紘、神尾晋一郎。
