Capcom 经典恐怖动作游戏《生化危机》于二月份经 Sony Pictures 率先公开新作《Resident Evil: Death Island》首波前导预告，今番则迎来最新预告与上映日期的正式公开。
预告片中能看到电玩游戏系列中幸存的主角们一同齐聚，包括 Leon S. Kennedy、Chris Redfield、Claire Redfield、 Rebecca Chambers 与 Jill Valentine 等人一同前进恶魔岛联邦监狱（Alcatraz Island），只为从解救 Antonio Taylor 博士以及调查旧金山最新爆发的疫情源头，而这一切打从一开始似乎就是个关于 T 病毒的可怕圈套⋯⋯。
本片是继 2017 年动画电影《Resident Evil：Vendetta》与 Netflix 动画影集《Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness》后的最新作品，将由《暗杀教室》羽住英一郎担任导演，深见真担任编剧，Quebico 负责制作 CG 动画，角川 Animation 负责发行。
