Aaron Taylor-Johnson 在前年确定接演 Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel（索尼影业漫威角色宇宙）旗下 Spider-Man 反派角色 Kraven the Hunter 之后，近日于 CinemaCon 2023 透过本人录制影片宣布本片将以限制级规格（R-rated）打造。
本片将成为 Sony Pictures 首部限制级的 Marvel 电影，过去《Venom》与《Morbius》的分级皆为 PG-13，据了解 CinemaCon 2023 现场展示了约两分钟的电影片段，能看到 Kraven 残杀盗猎者与雇佣兵的血腥惨忍画面，而片中演员 Russell Crowe 将饰演 Kraven（本名 Sergei Kravinoff）带有美国口音的俄罗斯父亲，演员 Alessandro Nivola 则是在与犀牛互动之时，身上皮肤开始变成犀牛皮。
演员卡司还有 Ariana DeBose（饰演 Calypso）、Fred Hechinger（饰演 Dmitri Smerdyakov/ Chameleon）、Christopher Abbott 与 Levi Miller 等人。
Kraven the Hunter 初次登场于 1964 年《The Amazing Spider-Man》第 15 期，喝下神秘药水之后的他拥有如超人般的身体素质，且具备极强的追踪、诱捕与制毒等野生技能，为了证明自己是世界最强的猎人，拿下 Spider-Man 成为了个人的首要目标，而他也是 Sinister Six（邪恶六人组）初始成员之一。
