此车底盘编号 83249，是 Alain Prost 于 1990 年的生涯巅峰期效力 Ferrari 时所获得，尽管如此，Alain Prost 却从未真正驾驶过此车，且在不久后就将其出售。过后此车经历了多任车主，但一直都得到完美的照顾，时至今日里程数也低于 2,900 英里，甚至还获得 Ferrari Classiche 认证，意味著全车保有引擎、变速箱、车身等所有原厂部件，Ferrari 在庆祝 50 周年时还曾特地介绍过这辆 F40。
