道格拉斯·麦金农继续执导，约翰·芬尼莫尔和尼尔·盖曼担任编剧， 大卫·田纳特和麦克·辛继续演绎天使恶魔故事。
虽然原作合著者之一特里·普拉切特已经过世， 但在 30 多年前，普尼尔·盖曼与普拉切特就已策划了一部他们从未来得及写的续集，这些当年的想法也将融入到第二季中。
