从北京移动获悉，北京地区首个5G-A实验基站在昌平区的国际信息港建设开通。5G-A，也就是通常所说的5.5G，是5G和6G之间的过渡阶段。5.5G将在速率、时延、连接规模和能耗方面全面超越现有5G，实现下行万兆和上行千兆的峰值速率、毫秒级时延和低成本千亿物联。目前北京首个5.5G基站已完成通感一体和无源物联外场建设。
