即将于 2024 年上映的《美国队长 4 Captain America：New World Order》今日经官方正式宣布将改名为《Captain America: Brave New World》。
饰演 Sam Wilson 的 Anthony Mackie 于网路上分享一张剧组侧拍照，照片中身背盾牌的他正与前辈 Harrison Ford 进行对话，同时能发现椅子上的电影标题已经改名为《Captain America: Brave New World》。
本片将接续 Disney+ 影集《The Falcon and the Winter Soldier》的故事，叙述 Anthony Mackie 饰演的 Sam Wilson 在成为新任美国队长后的故事。三月底，已经确认 Liv Tyler 将会回归饰演女科学家 Betty Ross，身份为 Thaddeus 「Thunderbolt」 Ross 将军的女儿，Ross 将军过去由去年逝世的影星 William Hurt 主演，现已改由 Harrison Ford 接演，并有望在本片成为总统，而本片反派则是曾在《无敌浩克》片尾变身亮相的首脑 The Leader。本片预计于 2024 年 5 月 3 日正式上映。
