作为 WWDC 2023 期间举办的活动中的一部分，苹果官方向开发者们叙述了如何将他们的游戏便捷的移植到 macOS 系统。其中苹果官方也提到了开发者们可以使用基于 Wine 的 Converter 在 macOS 系统中模拟运行 WIndows 系统的游戏，并提供了游戏移植工具包。
虽然是面向开发者的工具，但 Converter 的 DirectX12 模拟能力真的非常棒，已经有用户使用这一工具在 macOS 上运行了《赛博朋克2077》和《暗黑破坏神4》这样的大型游戏。在 M2 Max 上以全高画质运行《暗黑破坏神4》进入游戏后基本在 80+FPS，而在 M1 16GB RAM 的 Macbook 运行 Ultra 预设的《赛博朋克2077》就比较惨烈了，仅有 15 FPS 左右。此外也有很多用户发布了他们在 macOS 上运行《霍格沃茨之遗》、《漫威蜘蛛侠》、《艾尔登法环》和《给丫爱5》等游戏的时评和截图，整体运行效率都比较不错。

CrossOver 产品经理 Meredith Johnson 在 CodeWeavers 博客上表示，CrossOver 没有与 Apple 合作开发该工具包，但他们仍然很高兴 Apple 看到了 Wine 的潜力，并渴望与游戏开发人员一起探索开发 Game Porting Toolkit 工具包。
