由士郎正宗打造的日本人气漫画《攻壳机动队 Ghost in the Shell》于 1989 年展开连载，后来由神山健治与押井守等导演操刀打造动画作品，成为不少影迷推崇的经典科幻 Cyberpunk 代表作品，并曾在 2017 年推出由 Scarlett Johansson 主演的真人版同名电影。
WACKO MARIA 透过本系列旨在向这部经典动漫作品致敬，并延续夏威夷衬衫系列单品的设计风格，选择主角草薙素子 Motoko Kusanagi 作为本系列的主题外观，并以多个经典画面进行重新排版，除了印花的不同之外也同步推出圆领卫衣予以粉丝选购。
本系列预计于美东时间 6 月 16 日晚上 11 点正式登陆 WACKO MARIA 线上商城与指定店舖，夏威夷衬衫建议售价 36,300 日元，有兴趣的读者们敬请留意。
