源于足球文化的英伦运动品牌 Umbro 携手英国东伦敦大学艺术与创意产业学院共同创建的设计工坊项目，在历经 9 个月的沟通与细节打磨，正式在伦敦时装周期间亮相，13 位学生以足球为灵感来源的作品最终入围，呈现出与众不同的 Umbro 运动服饰。
这 13 位服装设计专业的学生也与其他不同专业的学生进行合作，包括通过建筑学院的学生所利用的投影技术打造艺术装置，将服装设计投射于人形模特上；与电竞学院的学生们将服装融入 VR、AR 等技术，开发出 3 款游戏；与来自舞蹈学院的学生践行环保主张，在设计过程中使用可持续面料，或对废弃面料进行再次利用，借助他们对人体工学的熟知，运用 3D 打印技术制作匹配人体跑步姿势的足球鞋鞋底，更可为残障人士打造符合他们不同需求的运动鞋款……
此外，本次设计工坊还将邀请前四名作品的学生们前往位于中国厦门的 Umbro 中国总部，而 Umbro 的设计工坊项目还将被带进中国的学府，感兴趣的读者不妨留意。
