Dov Charney 过去曾是北美最大的服装制造、零售品牌 American Apparel 创办人，尽管因为连续多年亏损而在 2015 年宣布破产，但随着近年他又创立 Los Angeles Apparel 重新崛起，其名字也再次回到世人眼前。
需留意的是，Dov Charney 和 Kanye West 同样是争议缠身的人物，他过去曾饱受性骚扰指控，同时由于 American Apparel 破产的缘故，他也留下了管理不善的纪录。
