《攻壳机动队 Ghost in the Shell》由士郎正宗于 1989 年开始创作的漫画，之后因 1995 年 Production I.G. 制作、押井守导演的同名动画电影而在国际名声大噪，并陆续推出各式动画、真人电影。
该作近期宣布即将开通官方网站，并会在其展示原作漫画、1995 年押井守导演的《GHOST IN THE SHELL / 攻壳机动队》以及完整的 3DCG 动画《攻壳机动队 SAC_2045》等作品，每部都以日、英文双语呈现；并将每个系列的剧情大纲，角色、周边商品介绍以及相关人员的采访收录其中；官方表示，此举是为了让「曾听过这部作品但不知该从何开始的人」、还有「因为作品太多而难以获取资讯的粉丝」可以简单快速地了解该作品。
此外，《攻壳机动队》于 8 月 22 日，开设「X」 和「Instagram」官方帐号，有兴趣的读者不妨自行追踪，获取最新资讯。
